Introducing Tramontina, Churrasco

   

Tramontina was founded in Brazil in 1911 by Valentin Tramontina, a blacksmith in Carlos Barbosa. The son of Italian immigrants, Valentin built a solid business based on the ideals of dedication, hard work, and delivering reliable, durable and high-quality products. Ideals that are continued to this day which also include the highest standards of environmental management and social responsibility.

They started producing knives in 1930

Expanding into tools, tableware and saucepans in the 60’s and 70’s, they now produce more than 22,000 products sold in over 120 countries around the world.

In Brazil Churrasco is a word for Barbecue, with a variety of meats including pork, sausage, chicken and steaks cooked on skewers on a purpose built grill.

In Australia Churrasco is a dish made from Skirt Steak, a tasty but slightly tough cut of meat, skewered and grilled on a BBQ or open fire in the traditional Brazilian way.

This fantastic range of knives and accessories can be used for all types of cooking and grilling. The knives have a blackened stainless steel blade for increased strength and durability and stylish, FSC certified, wooden handles. We have jumbo steak knives sold individually or in sets and a variety of BBQ tools and accessories as well.
