nöni™ is a ferritic, non-nickel stainless steel range. nöni™ pans are formed into shape from one solid sheet of 3mm ferritic (nickel-free) stainless steel. Ferritic stainless steel is used because it is free of the heavy metal nickel and nearly twice as conductive as commonly used 18-10 Austenitic stainless steels (18-10 stainless steel means 18% Chromium and 10% Nickel).
It is magnetic and therefore compatible with induction cooktops, without any need for clad/ply layers. nöni™ cookware is low maintenance and perfect for all boiling, slow cooking, acidic cooking, while still being conductive enough to sear a steak. Cooks like iron, cleans like stainless!
